Job summary

Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Westfield, MA is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our Water Business Line.

You will assist with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, contributing to resilient infrastructure and environmental sustainability. The internship offers a hybrid work environment, mentorship from experienced engineers, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience with design software and engineering calculations while supporting

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous and relevant internship experience
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
• Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
• Hands-on design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Word or PowerPoint
• At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college level program
• Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater and stormwater projects
• Perform engineering calculations to support projects
• Assist staff on a variety of tasks with study, design and construction projects and/or field assignments
• Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
