Tighe & Bond’s Water Business Line in Portland, ME is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to help plan, design, and oversee infrastructure projects across the Northeast. You’ll work with seasoned professionals to strengthen community resilience while gaining hands-on experience in water and wastewater systems.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
• Previous internship experience in engineering or related field
• Interest in water/wastewater infrastructure and environmental sustainability

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
• Perform engineering calculations to support projects
• Assist staff on various tasks across study, design, and construction projects and field assignments
• Participate in Tighe & Bond’s annual Intern Day activities
