Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Water EIT/Designer in Charlotte, NC to develop planning, preliminary, and detailed designs for water-focused systems under supervision. You will prepare specifications, analyses, and reports and collaborate with clients to deliver an outstanding experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent, plus interest in water resources; an EIT is preferred. BIM and modeling tools experience is advantageous; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Interest or experience analyzing and designing water-focused systems.
• Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Create planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water-focused systems under instruction from a Project Engineer.
• Prepare deliverables for water resources projects, write specifications, analysis, modeling, and study reports; work directly with clients.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of completed deliverables.
• Perform other duties as needed.
