Job summary

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking an Assistant Resource Specialist II to support water efficiency projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sectors. You will collect, organize, analyze, and maintain key datasets including water savings information and program activity distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience; or two years in MWD Assistant Resource Specialist I.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application).

Responsibilities

• Data collection, analysis and maintenance of datasets including water savings and program activity distribution.
• GIS-based spatial analyses and scripting to process technical datasets.
• Draft reports, presentations, and formal correspondence for team and management review.
• Coordinate and assist water efficiency programs for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional stakeholders.
• May administer agreements with guidance from senior team members.
• Maintain software licenses for the team.
