The City of Napa Utilities - Water Distribution Division is seeking to fill multiple openings for Water Distribution Operator I/II. The role involves installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing the city’s water distribution system and meters, with a focus on underground pipeline work and field maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair the water distribution system and water meters.
• Set up traffic control including signs and barricades; direct traffic around work sites.
• Operate large trucks and construction equipment used in distribution repairs.
• Excavate, backfill, and finish surfaces in trenching operations.
• Use leak detection and pipe locating equipment to locate issues.
