Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority is hiring a Water Distribution Operation Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the water transmission and distribution system. The role includes supervising field crews, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring proper maintenance of mains, valves, hydrants, and meters.

Qualifications

U.S.-accredited high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 7 years of experience in public water system operations or related field; supervisory experience preferred.
NJDEP W2 Public Water Distribution License or ability to obtain within an approved timeframe.

Responsibilities

Supervise field staff and coordinate daily assignments.
Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of mains, valves, hydrants, and meters.
Support leak detection and utility mark-out programs; participate in emergency response as needed.
Administer services contracts and maintain inventory and records.
Ensure compliance with Authority policies and procedures; be available for after-hours work.
