Job summary

California Water Service seeks a Supervisor/Superintendent to oversee district operations, including capital construction and maintenance of the distribution system. You will support the District Manager with operations updates and key decisions, and provide relief in absence of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing field operations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent water utility experience.
• 5 years of experience in water utility field operations or related.
• Experience in supervisory role preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee district operations including capital construction and maintenance for the distribution system.
• Supervise staff, prioritize and assign work; conduct reviews and training as needed.
• Ensure budget guidelines are followed and identify distribution capital projects.
• Oversee flushing, maintenance, and repairs of mains, services, and valves.
• Act as Shift/Chief operator and provide operations updates to District Manager.
• Coordinate with agencies and officials; ensure regulatory compliance.
