Job summary

The City of Carrollton is seeking a Maintenance Crew Leader II to supervise and coordinate Public Works maintenance projects in Carrollton, Texas. You will guide crewmembers, assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality across diverse field duties.

You will train staff, maintain daily logs, and respond to emergencies while supporting water distribution activities and winter weather operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of related maintenance experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance crews, assign work, and monitor quality.
• Coordinate project execution, schedule equipment and manpower.
• Perform specialized maintenance tasks and operate tools.
• Maintain logs and reports on materials and equipment.
• Ensure safety and secure worksites with barricades and traffic controls.
