Job summary

A premier water damage restoration provider in Sarasota is seeking a dedicated individual to respond to emergency water damage situations. Responsibilities include using specialized equipment for water removal and documenting progress. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a mechanical aptitude for handling extraction equipment, and a willingness to be on call multiple weekends monthly. Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude, including capability with water extraction and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Excellent driving record and clean criminal background required.
• Ability to pass a drug test pre-employment and ongoing.
• Structure Cleaning
• Previous experience in repair and maintenance fields or Construction industry an asset
• Computer literate
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• IICRC certifications will put you on top of interview list
• Xactimate or estimating software knowledge also moves you to top of list
• Ability to be on call multiple weekends a month
• Desire to improve processes and grow with company

Expert Water Removal is a full service insurance repair specialist, providing 24 hour emergency water, mold, fire cleanup and repair services to southwest Florida. Our customers enjoy turnkey services from a single source provider, easing communication, project management, record keeping and paperwork flow from project start to finish. Expert Water Removal is the area's premier nationally certified provider of 24 hour emergency water removal and also provides Mold Removal and Remediation and Smoke and Fire Damage and Restoration services.

Job Description

Daily response to water damaged properties both during and after business hours. Responsible to :

• act in a sensitive, positive and professional manner
• lift up to 90 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• utilize the equipment to dry the structure successfully to industry standards
• document all progress in job management software
• Addition carpentry demolition skills an asset

The position is fast paced, will generally consist of 80% field work and 20% administrative duties however requires extreme flexibility of assignments and work hours.

Qualifications

Excellent Customer Service experience in helping people

• Mechanical aptitude including Water extraction and Carpet cleaning equipment capability
• Careful demolition of affected areas only
• Structure Cleaning
• Previous experience in repair and maintenance fields or Construction industry an asset
• Computer literate
