Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Data Steward embedded in the Water Business Group to define how data is captured, structured, governed, and reused across systems and projects. The role coordinates SMEs and technical authorities to align data practices with HDR’s standards and enable better decision-making and reuse across Water disciplines.

You will enable data fluency across the Water BG, drive governance of externally sourced datasets, and collaborate with Enterprise Data Operations and Data Science

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline (or related experience).
• Ten years of strategic leadership experience focused on growing and leading teams in change management and data-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and coordinate a network of SME expertise to define technical standards.
• Develop and maintain business-aligned data definitions for key terms supporting data models and AI use cases.
• Promote data quality, access, and reuse across the Water BG.
