1-800 WATER DAMAGE of NE TX & NW LA is seeking a dependable Water Damage Technician for Texarkana, TX and surrounding areas. This hands-on role includes demolition, water extraction, and equipment setup with paid training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include operating drying equipment, documenting progress, and maintaining a clean work site. Prior construction/demolition experience is helpful; IICRC WRT certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation, including water extraction and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers).
• Perform demolition and removal of water-damaged materials.
• Document moisture readings, photos, and notes of job progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle.
• Complete required forms and checklists accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.

This is a hands-on role involving demolition, water extraction, and equipment setup. Paid training is available for the right candidate—so whether you bring prior experience in construction/demolition or are ready to learn a new trade, this could be a great fit.
