1-800 WATER DAMAGE is seeking a dependable Water Damage Technician to join our team in the Texarkana/Shreveport area. This hands-on role involves demolition, water extraction, and equipment setup with paid training for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with help.
• Comfortable in confined spaces (crawlspaces, attics).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• IICRC WRT certification required; prior demolition/construction helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation, including water extraction and structural drying.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment like air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Perform demolition and removal of water-damaged materials.
• Document job progress with moisture readings, photos, and notes.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle.
• Complete required forms and checklists accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
