Duties and Requirements

• Work closely with Restoration Supervisor to ensure customers’ needs are met.
• Respond to a variety of emergency and non-emergency service requests including fire & water damage mitigation, mold remediation, HVAC ductwork cleaning, board up / temporary repairs.
• Perform restoration production processes as scheduled (demolition, cleaning, content manipulation, etc.) and ensure quality control, this is a labor-intensive position.
• Thoroughly document the job process, from start to finish, in real-time using the latest technology.
• Maintain a clean job site and company vehicle.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Must occasionally be able to respond to losses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during a rotating on-call shift schedule.
• Ability to sit / stand / walk for long periods of time; repetitively push / pull / carry objects; lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 occasionally with assistance; climb ladders, work at ceiling heights or in tight spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts, with a rotating schedule
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.
• Pass background check

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push / pull / lift / carry objects.
• Ability to work with / around cleaning agents.
