Job summary

1-800 WATER DAMAGE is seeking team members to perform unskilled and skilled labor as assigned, show up on time in uniform, and be available for on-call emergencies. Join a national property restoration company committed to health and safety, with IICRC-certified staff and cross-country locations.

You will learn to operate demo and moisture mapping equipment, complete field check-lists and timesheets, and pursue IICRC certification to perform structural drying for clients’ homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk or hear.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and 45 lbs frequently.
• No prior experience required, but encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled & skilled labor as assigned.
• Show up on time for shifts in proper uniform & well-groomed.
• Be available for on-call & emergencies.
• Learn & practice commitment to customer service.
• Fill out paperwork properly (Timesheets, PO Forms, Field Check-list).
• Perform demos, moisture mapping, equipment setup, monitoring loss & documenting readings.
• Exercise good judgment and follow written/oral instructions; problem-solve as needed.
• Work toward or obtain IICRC certification to perform structural drying techniques.
