Job summary

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Newtown is seeking a Water Damage Technician to assist team members by performing skilled and unskilled labor while learning techniques and receiving training required for professional mitigation and disaster response services.

As a member of the team, you will participate in on-call duties, maintain proper uniform and grooming, and contribute to customer satisfaction through careful handling of tasks and paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, and talk or hear.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and skilled labor as assigned.
• Show up on time in proper uniform and well-groomed.
• Be available for on-call and emergencies.
• Learn and practice commitment to customer service.
• Fill out paperwork properly (Timesheets, PO Forms, Field Check-list).
• Monitor loss and document readings.
• Apply good judgment and follow written or oral instructions.
