Job summary

PuroClean, a leader in emergency property restoration, is seeking a Project Team Leader in Chandler, AZ. You will manage and complete jobs per our established processes, respond to service calls, and coordinate requirements to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires at least 2 years of field experience and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and insurance partners, train new staff, and uphold safety standards across all operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate restoration process clearly to customers.
• Provide daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence.
• Assess job severity and evaluating the extent of damages.

• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time while delivering excellent customer service.
• Remain available for emergency response work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Job Position Description:

With a 'One Team' mentality, manage and complete jobs according to PuroClean® processes per workorder. Respond to service calls when needed. Set up and establish efficient job flow, coordinate requirements for the job, complete job documentation, perform and supervise production work, and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish. Follow and enforce all safety procedures on the job site. Monitor all assigned jobs to ensure customer needs are met. Perform sales and marketing activities, including add-on sales and security checks. Communicate and establish relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential customers. Job documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Production costs are maintained at the established rate. Add-on sales are made to customers. Communications to Project Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager or Owner, as appropriate, and customer are timely. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our Project Team Leaders take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.

Essential Job Functions

The Lead Technician is responsible for:

• Communicating the restoration process clearly to customers
• Providing daily updates to insurance partners and centers of influence
• Assessing job severity and evaluating the extent of damages
• Understanding and promoting the company’s operational systems, including:

  • Xactimate
  • Mitigate
• Training new employees on technician responsibilities and company procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
• Wearing the company-provided uniform as required
• Fostering a strong team culture among field operations staff and across the organization

Specific Responsibilities

The Lead Technician is responsible for:

• Following all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures and standards
• Understanding and adhering to restoration procedures, including:
  • Water damage restoration procedures
  • Mold remediation equipment and procedures
  • Fire and smoke cleaning tools and procedures
  • Carpet cleaning equipment and procedures
• Demonstrating a positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude at all times
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time while delivering excellent customer service
• Maintaining all equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition
• Remaining available for emergency response work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Possess a valid driver's license and safely operate company vehicles
• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work for extended periods in both large and confined spaces
• Wear appropriate respirator equipment for extended periods
• Pass a respirator fit test and medical evaluation
