Job summary

Dry Force in Austin, Texas is hiring a Water Technician for a full-time position. You will remove, replace and repair water-damaged materials and handle issues caused by water damage while delivering superior customer service.

As a front-line technician, you will set up air movers, dehumidifiers and HEPA air scrubbers, document progress with a phone or tablet, drive to job sites, and collaborate with management to ensure customer satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Overtime and some holidays availability.
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred.
• 1–2 years structural restoration experience preferred.
• 2–4 years construction experience preferred.
• 2–4 years customer service experience preferred.
• Speaking English is not a requirement, but you must be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Handle issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials.
• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property.
• Assess the scope of new construction required and sell Dry Force reconstruction services.
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of.
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers.
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies.
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet.
