Job summary

Dayspring Restoration in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to join our disaster restoration team. You will assess affected areas, remove water, set up drying equipment, and work with clients to minimize damage after water incidents.

This full-time position requires on-call rotation, OSHA-style safety practices, valid driver's license, and IICRC certifications. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, paid vacation and sick time, six holidays plus one

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanings
• 1+ year experience in carpentry
• Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule
• Available for regular overtime
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 50 LBS
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• IICRC Certifications are required

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform all the mitigation services the company offers.
• Equipment set up and take down.
• Containment
• Complete drying of the structure
• Cleaning
• Complete necessary documentation, daily logs, work orders, etc.
• Inspect completed work to ensure company's quality standards.
• Load vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies for the day's work.
• Maintain basic cleanliness of company vehicles used each day.
• Clear, professional, and timely communication with customers, team members, and managers
• Participation in all required training assigned by Training Director
• All other tasks as assigned by the Crew Leader, Superintendent, or Manager
