SERVPRO Team Jones is seeking an experienced Water Damage Mitigation Manager/Supervisor/Project Manager to lead our water restoration operations. This role oversees emergency response services, manages technicians and crew chiefs, coordinates mitigation projects, and ensures profitability and high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, restoration industry experience, and a passion for helping customers recover from water, fire, storm, and mold-related damage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time and according to SERVPRO standards.
• Conduct jobsite inspections to verify workmanship and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop Water Mitigation Technicians and Crew Chiefs.
• Schedule crews and after-hours on-call rotations.
• Maintain accountability for safety and quality expectations.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers during projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee all water mitigation projects from first notice of loss through project completion.
• Manage day-to-day mitigation operations and emergency response activities.
• Monitor job progress, profitability, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

• Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing training.

Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during mitigation projects.
• Build relationships with property owners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and facility managers.
• Communicate project timelines, expectations, and progress updates.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and positive online reviews.

Project Management

• Manage multiple mitigation projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate equipment deployment and monitoring.
• Review moisture mapping, drying goals, psychrometric data, and project documentation.
• Ensure accurate job files, daily notes, and project records are maintained.
• Verify projects meet SERVPRO and insurance carrier requirements.

Estimating & Documentation

• Prepare and review mitigation estimates using Xactimate.
• Ensure all documentation supports billing and insurance carrier requirements.
• Review job costs and profitability.
• Track change orders and supplemental billing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs and inventory records.

Business Development Support

• Assist with relationship-building efforts among insurance agents, adjusters, commercial clients, and referral partners.
• Participate in networking events and community outreach initiatives.
• Promote SERVPRO Team Jones services to prospective clients.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain compliance with restoration industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in catastrophic event response when necessary.
