Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Water Damage Lead Technician to oversee restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to standards. You will direct on-site technicians, communicate with customers, and maintain quality control throughout the project.

The role requires 2–5 years of restoration experience, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift 75+ pounds, and flexibility for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • 2–5 years restoration industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work after-hours emergency calls, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Adequate math skills. Ability to apply techniques to determine equipment needs.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, email, and reporting daily activity.
  • Preferred: IICRC WRT/AMRT and CCT certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform expert water damage mitigation and restoration per Voda standards.
  • Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial sites.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity.
  • Inspect work to ensure schedule and standards compliance.
  • Complete work orders, logs, and restoration docs accurately.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and industry partners.
  • Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Maintain inventory and organization of supplies.
  • Ensure a safe work environment.
  • Train and mentor new technicians.
  • Lead by example and be a team player.

Water Damage Lead Technician Job Summary

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services. The Restoration Lead Technician oversees restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards, industry guidelines (IICRC), and insurance requirements. This role serves as the on-site leader, directing technicians, communicating with customers, and maintaining quality control throughout the project.
