Job summary

24 Hour Flood Pros of Salem LLC seeks a versatile field technician to support disaster mitigation after water, fire, or mold events in Salem, OR. You’ll set up equipment, document progress, take moisture readings, and assist with demolition while following safety practices.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, physical stamina to lift 50–75 lbs, and the ability to work evenings or weekends for emergency calls. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior mitigation, construction, or restoration experience preferred but not required - training available.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift 50-75 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for emergency calls

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor equipment, document progress of loss.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, able to take moisture readings, logs, and records file integrity and communicates details of all projects
• Oversees Equipment Maintenance
• Performs demolition of loss - removing wet drywall, flooring, cabinets and insulation
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information.
• Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares trucks and equipment for emergencies.
• Ensures that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions.
• Enjoys being on the move and never having the same day twice
• Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance
