Job summary

Burgess & Niple is seeking a Conveyance CADD Technician to join our Water/Wastewater team. You will provide essential drafting support across conveyance and civil projects, working directly with project engineers to develop construction drawings and refine designs.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of CADD experience, a high school diploma or GED, proficiency in Civil 3D and MS Office, and familiarity with ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of CADD experience in civil/conveyance projects.
• Proficiency in engineering drawings from notes and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Provide CADD drafting support for varied project sizes and clients across regions.
• Prepare and label preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from notes and sketches.
• Collaborate with project engineers to develop construction drawings for conveyance projects.
• Produce accurate, complete technical drawings meeting project specs and standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with engineers/designers to resolve technical questions and design issues.
