Job summary

The City of Scottsdale is seeking a Water Audit Technician to educate customers about water usage and conservation, address high bill concerns, assist with meter tests and leaks, and support the Meter services team.

Applicants need a HS diploma or GED, one year of public-contact and meter-reading experience, a valid driver's license, and ADEQ Grade 1 Water Distribution certification within six months of hire. Excellent benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of training and experience with public contact and meter reading procedures.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations in 39 months.
• ADEQ Grade 1 Water Distribution certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educates utility billing customers about water usage and conservation issues by responding to high bill complaints, requests for meter tests and leak assistance.
• Assists in keeping other Meter's group members productive.
