Job summary

The Health Department of Northwest Michigan is seeking a Sanitarian to work with noncommunity water supplies, handling administrative duties and data management in SDWIS and SWIFT. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with SDWIS and SWIFT (EGLE software) required.
• Willingness to travel weekly to Gaylord for training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update SDWIS/SWIFT databases.
• Maintain and update physical files.
• Enter surveys (SWIFT) data.
• Ensure certified operator compliance.
• Issue annual/seasonal letters.
• Develop yearly monitoring schedules for facilities.
• Issue reminder notices and phone call reminders.
• Provide and assist in quarterly reporting.
• Manage sampling contracts.
