Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Water) for Guam. The successful candidate will gain real-world experience on water-related projects while mentored by project managers in our employee-owned culture.

You will apply standard engineering techniques, collaborate with engineers, and develop your problem-solving and communication skills as part of a dynamic, full-time internship in Guam. This temporary position supports Pump Stations and Pipelines and offers mentoring within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Attitude and commitment to employee-owned culture.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
• Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.
