Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil EIT/Coordinator to join our Water Business Group in Guam. You will participate in designing site development and water infrastructure, including drinking water and wastewater systems, and prepare construction plans and cost estimates.

You will assist with reports, calculations, and field investigations, contributing to project success. Preferred candidates may have familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Bentley hydraulic modeling software, and those without an EIT

Responsibilities

• Work on project teams with Senior and Project Engineers on site development and water infrastructure.
• Design site and utility systems for drinking water and wastewater with construction plans and estimates.
• Assist in preliminary engineering reports or studies.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations as needed.
• Support during construction including review of submittals and RFIs.
• Perform other duties as required.

In the role of Civil EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to:

• Work on project teams including Senior Engineers and Project Engineers on the design of site development and water infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Design site and utility infrastructure systems related to drinking water, wastewater, and water resources including the development and preparation of the construction plans, specifications and estimates of construction cost.
• Assist with the preparation of preliminary engineering reports or studies.
• Complete engineering calculations to support design decisions and recommendations.
• Perform site visits and field investigations when required.
• Assist with engineering services during construction including review of material submittals and requests for information.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Bentley hydraulic modeling software.
