Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil EIT/Coordinator in Guam to join our WaterBusiness Group. You will contribute to the design of drinking water and wastewater systems, collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams, and assist with reports, calculations, and field investigations.

Ideal candidates have familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Bentley hydraulic modeling, with a commitment to our employee-owned culture guiding daily tasks and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Bentley hydraulic modeling software preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on project teams including Senior Engineers and Project Engineers on the design of site development and water infrastructure projects.
• Design site and utility infrastructure systems related to drinking water, wastewater, and water resources including construction plans, specifications and estimates.
• Assist with preparation of preliminary engineering reports or studies.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions and recommendations.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations as required.
• Support engineering services during construction including review of submittals and RFIs.

In the role of Civil EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to:

• Work on project teams including Senior Engineers and Project Engineers on the design of site development and water infrastructure projects including water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Design site and utility infrastructure systems related to drinking water, wastewater, and water resources including the development and preparation of the construction plans, specifications and estimates of construction cost.
• Assist with the preparation of preliminary engineering reports or studies.
• Complete engineering calculations to support design decisions and recommendations.
• Perform site visits and field investigations when required.
• Assist with engineering services during construction including review of material submittals and requests for information.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Bentley hydraulic modeling software.
