Ideal candidates have CAD experience, an AS in CAD Technology, and GIS familiarity; strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of CAD experience in general civil design or in public utilities design.
• AutoCAD certification(s) preferred.
• Proficiency with GIS applications utilizing AutoCAD Map preferred.
• Ability to read engineering plans and maps.
• Effective typing, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs drafting for capital projects using AutoCAD based on engineers' instructions or sketches.
• Ensures plans comply with specifications, provisions, drawings and standards.
• Assists in preparing exhibits and information for capital budgets and project schedules.
• Prepares as‑built plans and updates system maps.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
