Job summary

HDR is seeking a Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group Professional Services Leader to guide technical staff and drive profitability in the Water Business Group. You will lead and develop area staff, coordinate with market sector leads, and ensure QA/QC and process improvements across projects.

The role emphasizes a strong client focus, collaboration with HDR leadership, and active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture across multiple East Coast locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, architecture or closely related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in the field required; PE license preferred.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive quality and continuous improvement.
• Active engagement in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR expertise and brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of staff to meet client needs and market drivers.
• Oversee project oversight, reviews, financials and profitability at the project level.
• Lead quality assurance efforts and QA/QC program activities for continuous improvement.
• Review fee proposals and participate in key pursuits and staffing discussions.
• Partner with market sector leaders and project delivery to evolve technical and digital delivery.
