ShaleStone, Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician to deploy, install, monitor, operate, troubleshoot, and remove automated water solutions equipment, including pumps, filtration units and storage tanks.

You will work closely with Project Management and Water Transfer Technicians to ensure reliable operation in field environments. The role involves calibration, preventive maintenance, and problem resolution for electronic systems, with travel across CO, WY, NM, TX and UT.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an I&E Technician in oil and gas or similar industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuits.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; must pass drug testing.

Responsabilités

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and systems.
• Support SCADA and PLC deployment and troubleshooting.
• Calibrate sensors and 4-20mA loops; perform electrical maintenance.
• Operate water transfer systems including pumps and filtration.
• Travel with focus in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Texas and Utah.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain field service records.
• Organize equipment inventories and prepare daily reports.
