Job description

The Village of Middlefield is accepting applications or resumes for the full-time hourly position of Water and Wastewater Plant Operator.

Under general supervision of the Lead Plant Operator and Plant Operations Manager, the Water and Wastewater Plant Operator operates the Village of Middlefield drinking water and treatment system, and performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One-year experience in water and/or wastewater treatment operations.
3. Must possess a Class 1 Ohio Water & Wastewater Operator’s Certificate.
4. Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator’s license.
5. Willingness to obtain an Ohio class 2 water supply license and an Ohio class 3 wastewater treatment license.
