Henry County Public Service Authority is hiring a Water & Sewer Service Technician. The role is based at the Henry County Service Center, Bassett, VA, with a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The position offers a competitive salary ($40,260–$49,746 annually) and comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance. On-call duties and outdoor work are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of water and sewer system maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Ability to work on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• CDL with Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire (training may be provided).

We’re Hiring: Water & Sewer Service Technician

Location: Henry County Service Center, Bassett, VA

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Salary Minimum: $40,260 - $49,746 annually ($19.35 - $23.92/hour)

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement, or the ability to obtain it within 18 months of hire (training support may be available).
• Someone who is reliable, ready to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
