Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a software engineer to join the Companion Device Services team, focusing on the Apple Watch platform. You will work across the organization with software teams to build robust system frameworks and improve pairing/communication technologies.

You will collaborate with design and QA to shape user-facing goals for setup and pairing, delivering a seamless initial experience for new Apple Watch users.

Qualifications

• BS CE/CS or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Objective-C and Swift.
• Experience building high-traffic system frameworks and related infrastructure.
• Experience profiling and optimizing applications.
• Systems knowledge with inter-process communication.
• Upbeat, adaptable and results oriented with a positive attitude.
• Fantastic attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain system frameworks for the Apple Watch platform.
• Collaborate with the networking team and cross-functional partners to define user-facing goals of pairing technologies.
