Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as a Situation Awareness Specialists providing Watch-Standing for the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC). In this role, you will provide 12 hours/day (0600-1800), on-site support in monitoring, collecting, and sharing all aspects of reporting information associated with the operations of the Shore Enterprise Operations Center (SEOC). This role is often performed independently and serves as the command’s first line of critical information flow.Travel along the east coast of the U.S. in the event of a Continuity of Operations (COOP) event may be required.
The Situation Awareness Specialist provides essential support to sustain twelve-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week (12/7) watch stander operations for the Emergency Management (EM) Department during daily activities, training, and real-world response efforts. In addition to watch standing duties, the contractor will assist the Deputy Program Director and department staff by preparing briefs, executive summaries, and point papers for a variety of stakeholders, coordinating official tasking through approved IT systems, and providing general administrative support to the Emergency Management program.
