Manson Construction Co. is seeking a Watch Mate to stand the bridge watch and ensure safe, efficient navigation of the vessel. The role involves maintaining logs and charts, responding to emergencies, and performing duties assigned by the Master.
Travel and non-regular shifts may be required. The candidate must hold a US Coast Guard License for unlimited seagoing vessels and meet STCW requirements. MS Suite knowledge is required, and experience supervising deck personnel is a plus.
The Watch Mate stands bridge watch and is responsible for safe and efficient navigation of the vessel. They are Responsible for various ship’s logs & charts. They Perform additional duties specific to the vessel and as assigned by the Master. Employees may be required to work non-regular workdays and shifts, as well as work and travel out of the area.

Employee must be able to met the following physical requirements for this position such as: Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on marine vessels in water. Able to safely execute duties in and around heavy equipment/large machinery in marine dredging and marine construction job sites. Able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, respirators, etc.)
