Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor subordinate staff in the performance of their duties.
  • Conduct performance evaluations; make recommendations on discipline and retention.
  • Ensure events on shift are accurately documented.
  • Conduct inspections of personnel and equipment.
  • Provide customer service to clients by following safety and security procedures and policies.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.00 Hourly

Schedule: Wednesday- Sunday 2300-0730

Job Summary

Directly supervises all field officers during an assigned shift. Understands the fundamentals of security management and possesses the project management skills to initiate and track security related projects, business continuity, customer service, and effective communications. Always ensures the efficient operation of security staff, but particularly during situations where there are stresses placed on critical resources.

Primary Job Duties
  • Perform and think independently and on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Ensure officers are properly trained, executing, and reporting in a timely manner
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate staff in the performance of their duties
  • Conduct performance evaluations; makes recommendations in matters concerning employee discipline and retention
  • Ensure all events occurring on shift are accurately documented
  • Conducts inspections of personnel and equipment
  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Interpret, convey, and ensure implementation of company policies, procedures, and methods; ensure that personnel have clear guidelines of authority and responsibility
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and makes recommendations to assure maximum availability of operational assets
  • Work closely with the management staff to improve efficiencies and processes
  • Participate in other shift activities as necessary

QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
  • 12 months of relative security experience
