Job summary

Aqua Engineers is seeking a CSM Operator in Wahiawa, HI to operate and maintain sewer collection systems and related equipment. You will respond to alarms, perform inspections, and document activities.

The job emphasizes hands-on, physical work in an outdoor industrial setting, with on-the-job training and strong teamwork focused on safety. A Hawaii CDL-B with endorsements or the ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in CSM, wastewater, or utility field work (preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors in an industrial environment.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and team‑oriented.
• Willing to be on call as needed.
• Possesses — or can obtain through on‑the‑job training — a valid Hawaii Driver’s License with CDL-B, tanker endorsement, air brakes, and no restrictions.
• Possesses or able to obtain a valid State of Hawaii Department of Transportation medical examination certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sewer collection systems
• Clean and service sewer lines, pump stations, wet wells, and manholes
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and service calls
• Operate CSM equipment and company vehicles
• Complete required logs and basic reports
