Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Coordinator for our 24/7 bakery manufacturing operation. You will operate and optimize the wastewater system, collect samples, and monitor SCADA, while coordinating maintenance and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You’ll work day shifts on weekdays with on-call support, require a Level II wastewater certification, and have opportunity for professional growth within a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in environmental field preferred.
• Wastewater Operator Certification Level II required.
• At least 2 years operating industrial wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize wastewater treatment processes and systems.
• Collect samples and perform lab analyses for compliance and optimization.
• Monitor SCADA and respond to alarms and process trends.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, valves, piping, and instrumentation.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with Maintenance.
• Maintain chemical inventories and safe handling of treatment chemicals.
• Complete logs, discharge reports, and permit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with permits, environmental, food safety, and OSHA rules.
• Maintain safe housekeeping and participate in continuous improvement.
