Qualifications

  • Knowledge of how each unit process fits in the overall wastewater treatment process; ability to operate duty stations and troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operates all process equipment using manual and/or computer controls.
  • Collects composite samples from all phases of the treatment processes.
  • Performs laboratory analysis and process control calculations; ensures compliance with regulations.
  • Maintains detailed records of process control data and meter readings.
  • Troubleshoots operational problems including process microbiology.
  • Performs minor preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and instrumentation.
