Responsibilities

• Issue work notifications and permits as required.
• Identify and report operational and equipment issues promptly.
• Manage energy-control of equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure compliance.

• Conducting testing and sampling activities to ensure wastewater is properly treated,
• Issuing work notifications,
• Identify and report operational and equipment issues,

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a current, valid Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 Virginia state Wastewater Operators license, or a current, valid license from another state with equivalent waste treatment experience.
• Must be willing and able to convert licenses from another state to a Virginia license at first available opportunity.
• Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, as well as overtime as needed.
• Must be able to perform physical aspects of the role including walking, standing, climbing, etc.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets, work experience, and qualifications. The expected pay range for this Virginia position is between $28.11/hour to $40.48/hour.
