Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade with specialized training in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
• Possession of a Grade III Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Update, monitor, and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment and systems regulating wastewater flow and treatment.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations for maintenance and operation of wastewater treatment facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance on treatment plant equipment and grounds.
