Job summary

Allworld Project Management (AWPM) is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator Specialist in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on applying wastewater treatment expertise to execute projects and support site activities, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in wastewater environments and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. The position is on-site and requires local eligibility in Memphis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of field experience in wastewater environments.
• Technical leadership for complex physical/chemical and biological wastewater treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual sampling of water at various locations to assess water quality.
• Perform field tests on sampled water to evaluate the water treatment system performance.
• Calibrate field testing devices to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain a clean and operational workspace in the field test lab.
• Acquire and send packaged water samples to a remote lab.
• Inspect WTS equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Monitor water, chemical, and sediment levels in various systems.
• Submit safety and operational forms daily, weekly, and/or monthly.
• Proactively operate chemical injection skids and adjust rates based on readings.
• Lead system maintenance tasks such as replacing filters and totes.
• Communicate site demands to Site Manager and Engineers.
• Develop operational and technical expertise of the WTS equipment.
