Job summary

Abbott Nutrition in Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a facility operator to run and maintain IPP equipment and control systems. You will monitor processes, interpret lab data, and keep logs to ensure compliance with the discharge permit and internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor control system and ensure compliance with discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande.
• Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret lab data to maintain proper control of the system.
• Maintain log of operations and record all lab data and meter readings.
• Comply with FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

What You'll Work On

• Operate and maintain IPP equipment and systems
• Operate IPP equipment and related control systems; ie, SBR, Influent EQ, Sludge, Dewatering Press, Sludge Removal, Chemical Feed
• Monitor control system and make adjustments as needed to maintain compliance with the discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande
• Observe variations in operating conditions, interprets lab test results, along with current and historical data to maintain proper control of the system
• Maintain log of operations and record all lab data and meter and gauge readings.
• You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• HSD/GED
• Algebra

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with biological wastewater treatment systems a bonus, good mechanical/scientific aptitude required.
• Good data analysis, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills necessary to adjust system operations properly to varying conditions in real time.
• Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate

Shift

Rotating 4x10s Monday-Friday 0600-1630 & 0930-2000 & Saturday-Sunday 0600-1630. ; Subject to change depending on need

Salary

The base pay for this position is $20.85 - $41.75/hour In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
