Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Waste Water Treatment Operator at the Casa Grande, AZ facility to support wastewater treatment operations in the Nutrition division.

You will operate and maintain IPP equipment and related control systems, monitor data and lab results, keep logs, and ensure compliance with discharge permits and FDA/OSHA policies. Shift schedule is rotating 4x10s with weekend coverage; base pay ranges from $20.85 to $41.75 per hour, depending on location.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Algebra proficiency required.

• Operate IPP equipment and related control systems; e.g., SBR, influent EQ, sludge, dewatering press, sludge removal, chemical feed.
• Monitor control systems and make adjustments to maintain compliance with the discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande.
• Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret lab test results, current and historical data to maintain proper system control.
• Maintain logs of operations and record all lab data, meter, and gauge readings.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.

Position Overview

Waste Water Treatment Operator – Casa Grande, AZ. This role works in the Abbott Nutrition division’s manufacturing plant, supporting our wastewater treatment operations.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong data analysis, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills.
• Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate.

Shift Details

Rotating 4x10s Monday‑Friday 0600‑1630 & 0930‑2000 & Saturday‑Sunday 0600‑1630. Subject to change depending on need.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $20.85 to $41.75 per hour. Pay may vary by location.
