Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of wastewater treatment experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems relevant to wastewater treatment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, pH adjustment, polymer dosing, and disinfection.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of treatment equipment, pumps, and tanks.
• Record operational data, maintain logs, and prepare accurate reports.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and repair equipment and process issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills in wastewater operations.
• Operate pumps, valves, DAF, screeners, and related equipment to manage flow and treatment.
• Respond to emergencies to minimize environmental impact and ensure continued operation.
• Coordinate drivers and unload tankers efficiently.
• Train new employees and share knowledge with the team.
