Job summary

CPP Corporation in Albany, OR is seeking a Wastewater Technician I to operate the wastewater treatment system, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with hazardous waste regulations. The role includes supporting spill responses and maintaining environmental safety across the facility.

Weekend shifts Fri–Sun 3×12 with a $1.25/hour differential are offered, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in an industrial waste treatment plant, chemical handling, or maintenance (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate neutralization wastewater treatment system with clarifier, flocculant tank, and filter press.
• Perform daily system inspections and routine calibrations.
• Identify safety/process/quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Provide internal/external customer support related to effluent management and hazardous waste.
