Job summary

Pentagon Technologies is seeking a Wastewater Technician to handle chemical waste and support wastewater treatment processes. The role involves mixing chemicals, analyzing tank compositions, and ensuring safe handling of hazardous waste.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with travel to facilities as needed. You will assist chemists and senior technicians, monitor instrument performance, and maintain equipment calibration while adhering to safety standards and company

Qualifications

Mathematics for inventory and chemistry calculations.
Chemical handling and safety protocols, especially hazardous waste.
Industrial hazardous waste management experience preferred.
Knowledge of pumps and machinery used in wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

Treat waste from processes and manage chemical waste, including filtration and maintaining chemical tanks.
Collect and review data on instrument performance, pass/fail rates, and inventory usage with engineering on data monitoring.
Inspect components from start to finish, ensuring quality control.
Support chemists and senior technicians as needed.
Maintain equipment calibration and safety training compliance.
Communicate status updates, incidents, and requests to the team.
