Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Wastewater Treatment/Environmental Technician for our Albany, OR facility. The role supports environmental surveillance, wastewater management, hazardous waste handling, and spill cleanup to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

You will perform water quality checks, operate treatment systems, and coordinate with operating departments on effluent management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Experience in an industrial waste treatment plant or maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system inspections and routine water quality checks.
• Operate neutralization wastewater treatment system with clarifier, flocculant tank, and filter press.
• Routinely perform equipment take down and maintenance.
• Identify safety/process/quality problems and assist with corrective actions.
• Provide internal and external customer support related to effluent management, hazardous waste, and spill response.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous and other waste regulations.
• Oversee the safe loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and transport via forklift.
• Routinely conduct hazardous waste inspections and shipments.
• Perform other duties as directed by department manager.
