Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform basic lab tests to determine chemical imbalances and correct the process by adding certain chemicals to restore balance.
• Redirect the flow of water to storage tanks or reprocessing by manual valves or computer input.
• Communicate with supervision and maintenance during shutdowns or HazMat events.
• Inspect drums for integrity, labeling and correct disposal considerations.
• Accept or reject drums and move accepted drums to in-process storage; return rejected drums to origin.
• Maintain drums in receiving and in-process areas and meet disposal schedules.
