Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Wastewater Technician for its Somerville, MA operations. You will operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, calibrate instrumentation, troubleshoot controls, and complete documentation.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, on-call flexibility for emergencies, and the ability to work independently while handling hazardous materials safely. Training, safety programs, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be on-call during rotating emergency response shifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with electrical controls.
• Ability to work independently and use spreadsheets.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and handle hazardous materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems and related equipment.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation and control loops.
• Maintain logs and administrative forms for site operations.
• Collect wastewater samples and set up samplers.
• Assist with repairs, upgrades, and installation of equipment.
